What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They help, for example, to remember your settings or to find out which pages people read. Other technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a similar way.
How we manage consent
We use CookieYes to manage consent. On your first visit a banner appears where you choose which cookie categories to allow. Until you give consent, analytics and marketing tools do not run, or run in a cookieless mode without identifiers (Google Consent Mode). We remember your choice so we don't ask on every visit.
Cookie categories
Essential
The website does not work properly without them. They do not require consent.
- cookieyes-consent (CookieYes): stores your choice in the cookie banner, valid for 1 year.
- SESS… / SSESS… (Drupal): login to the admin, for website administrators only, until the browser is closed.
Your browser may also store the information that you closed the offer of another language. This is the browser's local storage and is not sent anywhere.
Analytics
They help us understand how people use the website and improve it. They only run with your consent.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.): _ga, _ga_* – distinguishing visits and measuring traffic, valid for up to 2 years.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.): _clck, _clsk, CLID – anonymised recordings of movement on the page and heatmaps, valid from 1 day to 1 year.
Marketing
They are used to measure advertising results and to show relevant ads. They only run with your consent.
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.): _gcl_au, _gcl_aw and cookies on Google domains – conversion tracking (for example a submitted form) and remarketing, usually valid for 90 days.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): _fbp, _fbc – measuring the results of ads on Facebook and Instagram (for example a submitted enquiry) and remarketing, valid for 90 days. It only runs after you consent to advertising cookies.
We use Google Tag Manager to load the tracking tools. It does not store personal data itself, it only runs the tools listed above according to your consent.
Where the data goes
Data from analytics and marketing tools is processed by the providers listed above. Some of them may transfer data outside the European Union, in particular to the USA, on the basis of standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. How to delete or block cookies
You can change your consent via the Change cookie settings link or the cookie icon in the corner of the page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.
